Cancer,
a merciless disease, does not spare any
one. The life of sufferer and his relatives
become worse then hell due to unimaginable
disease consequence, prolonged and costly
treatment with unpredictable outcome. With
a rapid revolution in medical sciences,
specially in oncology, now it has become
possible to cure most of early stage cancer.
In India>70% cancer
patients come to the doctor in a very advanced
stage, when only palliative care can be
offered to them. This is because of lack
of awareness, poverty and misguidance.
It always requires, a strong
and committed desire to fight cancer. Thus
a trust under the name of “Bareilly
Cancer Charitable trust” was
formed in July 2002 under
the able guidance of a renowned cancer specialist
Dr. R.K. Chittlangia M.D., D.N.B.
who pledged to offer his dedicated services
for the suffering humanity free of charge.
With a strong team of 25 trustees, a good
number of life members, donors, doctors
and paramedical workers, we are involved
with full dedication to serve underprevileged
cancer patients.
